Exit Cards / Journals

In order to track our student progress we have created a series of "exit cards" or "journals".  The exit card is a question or questions that we would consider "test worthy".  The completion of each exit card is mandatory for the students and it allows us to provide both descriptive and oral feedback.  Students understand the value as it is common that exit card questions make their way onto assessments AND they get immediate feedback to help their academic progress.  I have shared a file that shows the student tracker and a couple of exit cards to give you a flavour of how we do it.
